Living Well with Pelvic Pain: A FREE Women’s Health Edu-Event
FREE EDUCATIONAL EVENT, hosted by WHoleheart Psychotherapy
PLS YOGA, with special guest Jessica Reale PT, DPT, WCS, is pleased to invite you to a free educational event for women’s pelvic health and wellness, tailored just for women living with pelvic pain. On May 15th, please join us for this free education and information session on optimal pelvic health, yoga therapy and other pathways of care. Topics covered will include:.
a brief overview of optimal pelvic health during different life stages
modifications to traditional poses (and other daily activities), from a pelvic perspective, for pelvic dysfunction and disease, as well as recommendations toward a yoga practice to support the female body
basic yoga breathwork and postures to improve non-beneficial conditions, discomfort, and symptoms of dysfunction (including pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, etc.),
the basics of true core conditioning at any age, for healthy pelvic systems and structures
This evening is recommended for women who are at the beginning of their pelvic health journey, and/or who may be living with pelvic dysfunction, disease or post-surgical conditions. This evening is also appropriate for health practitioners and fellow yoga teachers, who want to support patients and clients.

Patricia Schmidt is the founder of PLS YOGA. She is an RYT500hr YA certified yoga teacher, and IAYT Level 1 Yoga Therapist; she specialises in the application of yoga to support pelvic health and wellness. She holds the highest level of training available for yoga for pelvic health, and additional qualifications in adaptive yoga, yoga for cancer survivors, yoga for prenatal and postpartum women, yoga for hypermobility, and yin yoga.
Jessica Reale is a board-certified specialist and treats men, women and children with pelvic floor disorders. Jessica practices at Atlanta PT in the Vinings/Smyrna area. She is also a faculty member with Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and lectures nationwide on pelvic health topics.
