Private Yoga Therapy

A little bit of dedicated time and attention can make all the difference.

Private yoga is an excellent starting point for those living with special considerations. Perhaps your doctor or other care provider has suggested you add yoga to your care regimen. You might be a long-time practitioner who needs to make some changes to your old practice or you’ve only dabbled in the odd online class. Whatever your experience, you’re living with a new medical condition, injury, or life-stage and yoga seems like it might help. With a little dedicated time and attention, we’ll find the right yoga tools for you, right where you are today, and help to design a tailored and sustainable practice that has the same capacity to grow and evolve, as you do.

Expert Instruction

With over a decade of yoga teaching experience, and 2+ decades of yoga practice, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to your sessions. I am a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT), an experienced yoga teacher registered at the highest level with yoga alliance (E-RYT 500hr), and a certified continuing education provider (YACEP, which means I train other teachers). I also continue to learn and train with experts in the field of pelvic health, trauma and recovery, yoga therapy best practice, and fascia studies.

An Experienced Approach

I’ve worked with people living with special medical concerns and considerations for some time now. Over time, I’ve developed a multi-faceted approach to yoga therapeutics that includes calming down the nervous system, functional movement practices to help our muscles do their best (all of our muscles, including the pelvic floor), and mindfulness practices that help us take our yoga principles off the mat and into daily life.
